Account deletion
Last updated October 14, 2026
Adret never requires an account: importing a track, drawing a poster, sharing it and subscribing to Adret Pro all work without one, and signing in is only the optional way to use Adret Pro on another phone. If you do have an account, this page is how to delete it: from inside the app, or by writing to us if the app is no longer installed. If you subscribed without signing in, there is no account to delete; the subscription record is deleted on request through the contact page, as the privacy page describes.
From inside the app
Open Adret, tap the person icon above your library to open My account, go to Delete account, and confirm. It happens immediately and cannot be undone. If you signed in with Apple, the Apple sheet appears once more first: that is the app fetching a fresh authorisation code so that it can revoke Adret’s access at Apple in the same step, which is the reason no long-lived Apple token is ever stored on our side.
If the app is no longer installed
Write to us through the contact page, from the email address the account is under, and say that you want it deleted. One person reads that mailbox, so allow a few days; the account is deleted within thirty days of the request at the latest, and you get a reply once it is done.
What is deleted
The account and the email address on it, the sign-in sessions opened under it, and the subscription record that says whether you are Pro and until when. For an account created with Sign in with Apple, Adret’s access at Apple is revoked in the same step, which is what takes Adret out of the Sign in with Apple list in your iPhone’s settings.
What is kept, and why
The payment events (a renewal, a cancellation, a refund) keep the account identifier inside them, because a refund or a dispute over a payment can only be settled with them. RevenueCat, which turns the store’s receipt into a subscription record, keeps its own copy of the purchase; we have that deleted if you ask. The privacy page sets all of it out in full.
Your tracks and your posters are on your phone
The GPX you import and the poster it draws are stored on the device and are never deposited with us: the server draws a poster and forgets it. So there is nothing of yours on our side to delete beyond the account itself, and deleting the account touches nothing on the phone. Uninstalling Adret is what removes those. A Strava connection is on the phone too, and it is the one thing uninstalling does NOT tidy up: Adret stays listed under your connected apps at strava.com/settings/apps until you disconnect it: from inside Adret, which revokes it, or from that page yourself. Deleting your Adret account does not touch it either. Permission to read Apple Health is the same shape and lives in the same blind spot: uninstalling Adret removes it, but while the app is installed the only place to see or withdraw it is Settings › Privacy & Security › Health › Adret, and deleting your Adret account does not touch that either.
Deleting the account does not cancel the subscription
The subscription belongs to Apple or to Google, and no request made here can cancel one. Cancel it first, in your phone’s own subscription settings (Adret’s My account screen offers Manage subscription, which opens them), and then delete the account. The other way round leaves a subscription renewing for an account that no longer exists.
