A website that presents Adret, and an app that turns a recorded GPS track into a poster. The app is free to use: importing a track, drawing a poster and sharing it need no account, no payment and no sign-up. What Adret Pro adds is on the pricing page and on the app’s own subscription screen, which is where it is bought.

Adret Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, bought in the app through the App Store or Google Play. The price is shown in your storefront’s own currency before you confirm, and the yearly plan starts with a free trial whose length is stated on the same screen. The subscription renews by itself at the end of each period unless you cancel it at least twenty-four hours before, in your phone’s subscription settings; cancelling keeps it running until the end of the period already paid. Apple or Google take the payment, issue the receipt and handle any refund under their own terms. Subscribing needs no account: “Restore purchases”, in the app, brings the subscription back after a reinstall, and signing in, which is optional and can be done at any time, is what lets you use it on another phone. Deleting an account does not cancel the subscription, and the account deletion page says in which order to do the two.

Your recordings stay yours, and so do the posters you make from them: post them, print them, share them. Both live on your device; Adret keeps no copy, and the privacy page says exactly what the server sees when it draws one for you. The one thing a poster must keep is its OpenStreetMap credit: the map is drawn from OpenStreetMap data under the ODbL, and that licence requires it.

The Adret name and mark, the texts, the visual design, the styles and the posters shown on this site and in the app belong to the publisher. The map data underlying every poster comes from OpenStreetMap and is licensed under the ODbL. The typefaces of this site (REM, Mozilla Headline, Nunito and Aleo) are used under the SIL Open Font License.

The site and the app are provided as they are. A poster is drawn from your recording and from open map and elevation data, and none of it is checked: a track that drifted, or a path OpenStreetMap does not know yet, is drawn as recorded and as mapped. A poster is a picture of an outing, not a map to navigate by. The publisher is not liable for a fault in the store’s payment, in the phone, or in a third-party site linked to from here, whose content is its own responsibility. Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

These terms are governed by French law. If you live in another country, that choice does not take away the protection its mandatory consumer law gives you. In the absence of an amicable resolution, the French courts have jurisdiction, unless that law gives it to the courts of your own country.
